Tools for Social Media Marketing

It's no surprise that social media is the main source to promote your business. This is a really important tool that will bring your business and customers together. But, this may not always be as effective as you think. You have to make sure that you are on top of your social media game because this way your potential customers engage in every way with you and/or your business. Here are a couple of tools that may help you in having an effective social media strategy.
1. Know your brand - who are you? who are you selling to? who do you want to engage with? who is your customer? Communicate with your followers by providing them precise information on your business/brand.
2. Know your followers - Who are your followers? Where do they live? What do they like? Do they work from home or in a corporate office? When are they online?
3. Plan your posts ahead of time - Make sure you have a timeline of when and what you're going to post. Don't post 10 posts in a day, some followers that receive your notifications may not want to see all 10 posts on their feed all at once.
4. Test out your ideas - Make sure you have a clear understanding of what engages your followers. Do they want to see more product? Do they want inspirational posts? Do they want to see model shots? Depending on what business your starting or what your brand is test out all your ideas and if those don't work, start a clean slate until you get it right.
5. Show a broader view of your brand - Don't limit what you show your followers. If you show the same thing all the time your followers may not want to engage with you or they just unfollow you. Make sure you bring something new and different with every post. Keep them interested!
